PROFILES
The profiles of the Profils Systèmes range are obtained by press extrusion, alloy no. 6060 BUILDING QUALITY, with impurity tolerance levels stricter than the standard.
PROTECTION
- Chemical anodizing with the “QUALANOD” label, available in natural and bronze shades.
- Anodized finish class 20 (20–24 microns) for stock profiles.
- Polyester powder coating with the “QUALICOAT” label (Seaside option), and the “QUALILAQUAGE” and “QUALIMARINE” labels.
- Coating thickness: minimum 60 microns on visible surfaces.
STRUCTURE
- Composed of mullions and transoms 56 mm wide, with sections ranging from 30 mm to 240 mm depending on required inertia.
- A single type of profile can be used as mullion and transom.
- Assembly without machining, using face-fixed assembly brackets.
- Structural reinforcement possible with flat bars or tubes in steel or aluminum.
- Faceted façades (+/– 10°) can be produced depending on applications.
TYPES OF OPENINGS
- Tanagra grid effect: The grid effect is obtained by fitting horizontal and vertical caps clipped onto an aluminum pressure plate.
- Thermal insulation: insulating spacer of 40 mm, 50 mm, or 60 mm.
- Sealing: two EPDM seals, one on the pressure plate and one on the primary frame.
- Glazing thickness: from 6 mm to 42 mm.
- Possibility of architectural façades with angles between +/– 10°.
- Tanagra horizontal grid effect: Obtained by fitting horizontal caps and a vertical joint on the exterior.
- Thermal insulation: insulating spacer of 40 mm, 50 mm, or 60 mm.
- Sealing: two EPDM seals, one on the pressure plate and one on the primary frame.
- Vertical sealing between two panes: EPDM gasket (2 widths available).
- Glazing thickness: from 6 mm to 42 mm.
- Possibility of architectural façades with angles between +/– 10°.
- In compliance with DTU39, a metal part limits glazing thicknesses.
- Tanagra VEP effect: Obtained by installing thermal break frames fitted with an external aluminum glazing bead.
- Thermal insulation: via thermal break profiles.
- Frame anchoring: by interlocking.
- Sealing: two EPDM seals, one on the pressure plate and one on the primary frame.
- Glazing thickness: from 6 mm to 36 mm.
- Gap between two panes: 27 mm.
- Tanagra VEC effect: Obtained by installing frames with unedged glazing, leaving no visible aluminum structure on the exterior.
- Thermal insulation: via thermal break profiles.
- Frame anchoring: by interlocking.
- Sealing: two EPDM seals, one on the pressure plate and one on the primary frame.
- Glazing thickness: 6 mm, 8 mm, 24 mm, 31 mm, and 40 mm.
- Gap between two panes: 22 mm or 27 mm.
- Tested according to ETA-09/0229.
- Tanagra sunshade: Possibility of integrating sunshades directly onto the structure.
- Tanagra glass roof: The structure is composed of aluminum mullions and transoms.
- Transoms ensure continuity of sealing with mullions.
- Assembly: straight cut with machining on the transom.
- Exterior appearance: provided by a vertical cap clipped onto an aluminum pressure plate and by horizontal pressure plates.
- Vertical sealing: two EPDM gaskets installed on the pressure plate.
- Horizontal sealing: butyl strip bonded to the glazing + two EPDM gaskets on the pressure plate.
- Minimum slope: 5°.
- Tanagra photovoltaic: The system of 80 mm extension pieces and pressure caps allows integration of photovoltaic glazing producing electricity. This electricity can be used directly or fed into the grid.
